Before we announce the winner, innovations must assert themselves in a multi-stage process. Our criteria are
- The product is either a new development or the core functions have been considerably further developed. During the development, methods were used to place customer benefit and customer experience at the centre of the product idea.
- The innovation is profitable or achieves profitability in a timely manner in order to finance the development of new sustainable products.
- The innovation is a demonstrable contribution to environmental protection, contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions; reduces energy and resource consumption in manufacturing; is optimized for maximum reuse.
